Why Tallow?

Tallow is natural, tallow is sustainable, tallow creates a slow-burning candle.

As a retired farmer, I understand the importance of utilizing the WHOLE animal. Tallow candles were first used by the Roman’s…that’s a long time ago, folks!

My Tallow candles have 3 ingredients. Yes, I said that right…JUST THREE! Tallow, Coconut wax, & essential oils. I use a hemp wick so when you light your candle you can be assured there will be no off-gassing chemicals. Safe. Simple.

All of my wonderful blends of essential oils are recipes I developed myself. I wanted to pull people back to a favorite memory of the Northshore, picking rocks along Lake Superior shoreline, camping in the woods, smelling the spring flowers after a long winter.
